Batman V Superman Review
First off, I want to start off by saying that I am a huge Superman fan, but don't think for a minute that I will be bias in this review.
Now lets get it... (No Spoilers)
Batman V Superman takes place after the events that happened in Man of Steel. Humans can be ignorant at times, cause instead of blaming General Zod and his World Engine for the mass destruction. They instead put the blame on Superman (Henry Cavill). Everyone is angry about the whole situation, including Batman. Ben Affleck killed it as the Dark Knight! There's never been a Batman like him on the big screen before and I can't wait to see his solo film. The fight scene between these two iconic characters was one of the most amazing things that I've ever seen in my life. I was practically jumping out of my seat each time an action scene came on. Another surprising breakout character in this film was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). When she showed up everyone cheered! Definitely looking forward to her own solo film as well.
A lot of work was put into making this movie. Even with all the money invested, all the great cast/crew members involved in this film, it's in no way a perfect movie or the greatest DC movie of all time. The pacing was a little off at times. There was so much going on, it's as if it was 3 or 4 movies put into one film. This film is pretty much the film to kick start the Justice League movie. So I understood why it was done that way, but it could have been handled in a much better way. Also, Doomsday did not need to be in this film but I understood why they did that as well (when you watch the film you will understand). Inspite of everything I've just said, this movie is by no means a bad movie. I actually really enjoyed it! The action sequences wre amazing. The story was well written, the cast did a phenomenal job. Not only that but the score fits every single scene perfectly. Listen to the song they used whenever Lex Luthor was on screen. Speaking of Jesse Eisenberg, I personally loved him as Lex, yea it's a different take on the character but it's a welcomed one in my book. Another thing I want to mention is how beautiful this film was, Zack Snyder did an amazing job.
All in all BvS ins't for everyone, some will love it (like me), some will like it and some will hate it.
I give Batman v Superman a 9/10.
Have you seen BvS? If so what did you think?
